Reporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, the Housekeeper (Wellness & Hygiene) is a full-time role based in Brisbane. You will be responsible for the daily presentation and overall aesthetic of our properties in Brisbane. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Daily cleaning of public areas, including using carpet cleaning and floor scrubbing machines in common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym, and laundry.
  2. Ensuring compliance with health and safety obligations.
  3. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, starting between 6 am and 8 am, with occasional weekend work as required.
  4. Weekly and monthly cleaning of student rooms.
  5. Preparing buildings for open houses and tours.
We want someone who:
  • Has an eye for detail.
  • Can prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Can operate cleaning equipment proficiently.
  • Is fully aware of health and safety obligations.
  • Can relate to young adults while maintaining professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and boundaries.
  • Has 1-2 years of cleaning experience in hotels or commercial spaces.
