Service Overview
Clarity Health Care is an accredited mental health service delivering a multidisciplinary, responsive program offering care to people with any form of mental health concern or mental illness. Our mental health programs offer psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and registered nurses. More important than discipline, is the individual skill of the senior mental health clinicians we employ. Evidence-based care is delivered through outreach services, clinic-based appointments, telehealth and group programs, based on clinical reasoning and need. Due to the design of the workforce at Clarity, collaboration and continuity of care is core to the delivery of the treatment, with the recovery model and bio-psycho-social model being the grounding principles of all care.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist/Admin officer to join our Clinic Support Team, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy mental health clinic.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in providing exceptional service, and wants to contribute to an organisation making a real difference in the community.
This role can be Part time or Full time for the right candidate
- Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting Clarity Health Care staff and patients
- Ensure the clinic is presented and maintained at a high standard
- Work closely with the team of administrators to complete the required tasks
- Answer the phones and welcome patients into the clinic
- Support clinicians with administration tasks
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail
- Administration support for our partner programs, including billing, data entry & reporting
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of Clarity Health Care services, including referrals, billing, and consultation fees.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times and understand privacy policies
- Ability to deal with difficult calls and remain calm
- Enjoy completing tasks and are not afraid to ask the team for help
- Ability to work autonomously
- Work well in a team environment and are a good communicator
- Experience in a similar front of house/administration role will be highly regarded
- Excellent customer services skills, understanding the different needs of our patients, and having a friendly and empathetic attitude
- Proficient in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Experience using Halaxy is an advantage
- Open to learning new software programs
- Prior experience in billing and maintaining systems using different medical software will be highly regarded.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of mental health services
- Ability to work as a reliable and trustworthy team member
- Can multi-task and prioritise under pressure
- Comfortable adapting to change and following the practice procedures
- Understand the importance of patient confidentiality
- Enjoy working within a supportive team
