Job Details

Job Title: General Practitioner - Boonah and Kalbar, Queensland

Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 3 days)

Practice Information

This practice is a longstanding general practice with two integrated sites, offering excellent orientation, facilities, and support for incoming doctors. Boonah and Kalbar are located in south-east Queensland, about 1 hour from Brisbane CBD and 80 minutes from the Gold Coast. The area is DPA / MM5, rural on the fringe of Brisbane, with many national parks, lakes, high-quality social infrastructure, schools, a local hospital, and allied health services. It is ideal for families, with low crime, no traffic lights, and friendly, respectful patients.

Position Description

The practice seeks a candidate with excellent medical knowledge, communication skills, and judgment, with a long-term commitment in mind. Part-time applicants and GP couples are encouraged to apply.

After Hours

One in five telephone on-call weeknights and weekends (no hospital work). One Saturday morning session in five.

Qualifications and Experience
  • FRACGP or FACRRM required
  • GP experience
  • Medical Board registration
