Role

R&D Fitter Machinist within Technical Services. You will be responsible for machining and testing prototypes to support the Enhanced Performance (EP) program and related R&D projects.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility over the R&D area, which currently consists of two machines and testing equipment.
  • Work autonomously to manufacture prototypes to drawing specifications.
  • Test prototypes for reliability and to ensure they are fit for market.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other team members on progress and outcomes.
Essential criteria
  • Experience in fitting and machining within a jobbing or production environment.
  • A genuine passion for machining, innovation, future-thinking, and growth.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and good housekeeping.
Desirable criteria
  • High-Risk Forklift and Rigging Licence.
  • ND T qualifications or relevant experience.
