We have 2 casual opportunities for skilled high-care support workers to join our dedicated and longstanding team in Bomaderry.

This Supported Independent Living (SIL) home supports male clients with intellectual and physical disabilities, including acquired brain injury and is best suited to someone with experience in physical disabilities, manual handling, and very comfortable with personal care.

Shifts available at this home include day (A), afternoon (B), active night (10pm - 6am) and sleepover (5pm - 9am) and require great availability.

Your role
  • Supporting adults with complex mental health and, intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model.
  • Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
  • Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients' current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
  • Promoting choice and control and show willingness to participate in clients' day to day routines, goals, and interests.
  • Providing personal care with dignity and respect.

Some Of Our Requirements

We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what's important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm- 11pm), sleepover (5pm-9am).
