Leading global law firm is looking for talented mid to senior level lawyers to join their Sydney office.

We represent one of the world's leading law firms, which is comprised of high-profile partners within the Australian market.

Due to the continued growth of our client's Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, they are looking for junior to mid level litigation lawyers to join their Sydney office.

The Sydney LDR team is regarded as one of Australia's leading practices and includes some of the brightest and most-respected practitioners.

They cover the full gamut of disputes including contractual disputes, directors' duties', shareholder disputes, schemes of arrangement, securities litigation, defamation, regulatory investigations, Royal Commissions, and white collar crime. They represent clients within international party disputes and multi-jurisdictional litigation in proceedings before the superior courts, as well as domestic and international arbitrations.

The team are regularly acknowledged as leaders in their field by independent legal directories.

Position Description

This role will see you practising in all spheres of commercial dispute resolution, working across a number of pre-eminent litigators. As a member of the wider global LDR team, you will have exposure to lawyers, clients and matters from a range of jurisdictions.

You will work on matters including:

• bribery and corruption investigations
• class actions
• funds related disputes
• misleading and deceptive conduct
• corporate governance investigations
• commercial disputes and securities actions
• inquiries and commissions of inquiries
• schemes of arrangement and regulatory investigations (ASIC and ACCC).

This is a great opportunity for a driven and talented commercial litigation lawyer to develop their legal skills, and excel in a friendly and cohesive team.

Requirements

You will be a lawyer with 3 to 8 years' proven experience in commercial litigation matters from a leading practice.

In addition, you will have:

• An ability to take ownership of a matter
• A thorough knowledge of the Australian superior court system
• A strong academic background.
