Cyber Security Analyst
Sydney | $90K + Super + Bonus | Hybrid

We're working with a fast-moving, forward-thinking organisation that's investing heavily in its security capability. They're looking for a Junior Cyber Security Administrator to join their Sydney team.

This is a strong opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of security functions, learn from senior professionals, and play a meaningful part in strengthening security operations. You don't need to tick every box—what matters is a solid IT/cyber foundation, curiosity, and a genuine drive to develop your career.

What You'll Be Doing You'll work on protecting networks, systems, and cloud environments, collaborating with internal IT teams and external partners. Key areas include:
  • Monitoring network traffic and identifying suspicious activity

  • Administering firewalls, VPNs, and SASE tools (with training provided)

  • Supporting identity and access management

  • Assisting with vulnerability assessments and audits

  • Responding to security incidents and helping mitigate threats

  • Gaining exposure to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and APRA 234

What You'll Bring
  • 2–3 years' experience in IT or cyber security

  • Knowledge of security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, or EDR solutions

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

  • Willingness to learn across multiple domains

  • Advantageous: exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or certifications such as Security+
