About the Role
As General Manager - Training, you will provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction to our training organisation. You'll be accountable for delivering ambitious growth targets, maximising profitability, and positioning AMA Training Services as the premier choice for vocational education in Western Australia.
This senior leadership role demands a results-driven professional who can translate vision into measurable outcomes, build high-performing teams, and drive innovation that delivers both impact and profit.
What We're Looking For
The Leader
- Minimum 5 years' senior leadership experience with proven track record of driving growth and profitability
- Demonstrated success in leading strategic transformation within RTO or commercial environments
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget management and business development
- Exceptional strategic thinking and planning capabilities
- Proven ability to lead, engage, and inspire high-performing teams
- Outstanding relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Results-oriented mindset with focus on measurable growth outcomes
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Deep understanding of the VET sector, compliance frameworks, and quality standards will be advantageous
- Track record of leading innovation and delivering measurable results
- Tertiary qualifications in Education, Business, Leadership or related field
- Understanding of healthcare and community services training context highly desirable
