Your new company

Working for the APAC division of a listed European group, you will be an integral part of the Tax and Accounting team.

Your new role

Reporting to the Tax Manager, your key focus will be tax-effect accounting and preparation of income tax returns for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region. You will also work with the team on the following:

  • Liaison with external advisers and auditors in relation to tax matters
  • Managing tax payments such as PAYG and withholding tax
  • Preparation of FBT and GST returns
  • Involvement in tax projects, process improvements and managing tax-related systems

Ideally, this will be a part-time role, working 4 days per week, but there is also the option to work 5 days per week.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have significant tax accounting experience (either Big 4 or corporate) with tax-effect accounting and income tax preparation being non-negotiable. You should also have strong knowledge of transfer pricing, GST, FBT and payroll tax as well as intermediate to advanced Excel skills and exposure to a large ERP system.
