About the role

The Senior Commercial Manager is a key leadership role partnering directly with senior management reporting into the CFO. Managing a medium size team, this role will partner with a range of business units to provide performance reporting, decision support, analysis and insights to support the executive team in achieving their strategic ambitions.

About the role

The Senior Commercial Manager is a key leadership role partnering directly with senior management reporting into the CFO. Managing a medium size team, this role will partner with a range of business units to provide performance reporting, decision support, analysis and insights to support the executive team in achieving their strategic ambitions.

Duties
  • Lead the commercial finance team to drive function performance with P&L ownership
  • Contribute to decision making through financial modelling, insights and analysis of key performance drivers
  • Lead the annual budget planning, monthly forecast recommendations, and 3 year strategic plan
  • Prepare and challenge business cases for commercial agreements
  • Business Partner with key divisions to build business plans and strategies
  • Support the business with financial analysis, customer profitability analysis, cost analysis, and drive corrective action
  • Prepare and present timely and accurate management reports
  • Drive process improvement in the finance reporting function
  • Encourage continuous improvement, automation and implement best practices
  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a high performing team

Skills and Experience
  • CA / CPA / CIMA Qualified
  • 8+ years commercial finance experience
  • FMCG experience
  • Excellent communication to liaise with a broad audience
  • Strong analytics skills interpreting data and providing recommendations
  • Advanced leadership, coaching, mentoring and team development skills
