About the Role

A well-established financial services provider is seeking a Client Services Team Lead to guide its client operations unit based in Sydney. The role involves leading a small team responsible for supporting users on a range of trading and account-related matters across APAC. You'll be instrumental in improving workflows, enhancing client satisfaction, and ensuring smooth collaboration between support, operations, and risk teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily activities of the client support team, ensuring timely resolution of customer requests
  • Provide hands-on guidance to resolve complex account, platform, or transaction issues
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to continuously improve internal processes and communication flows
  • Deliver training and coaching to team members and help shape onboarding practices
  • Track team KPIs and client experience metrics, providing insight to management
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with company procedures and regulatory expectations

Who We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role within the trading, fintech, or financial services space
  • Solid background in customer operations, service support, or account management
  • Capable of resolving client disputes and operational challenges calmly and effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in written Chinese is highly desirable

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • Experience with trading software, back-office tools, or KYC/AML procedures
  • Knowledge of margin trading, FX, or leveraged products is a plus
