An exciting opportunity exists to join the High Frequency Sensing Portfolio as the Senior Project Manager / Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead. You will work across several programs to deliver mission and supporting systems engineering services, focusing on team leadership and project delivery to support complex programs.

• Provide effective leadership to Project Team members, including the Engineering team (Systems engineering, Systems integration, Systems Acceptance Verification and Validation, Support, engineering, maintenance, operating, supply, training support) to ensure project budgets and schedules are met and the customer reports favourable on technical compliance with the specification and product quality.
• Accountability for day-to-day management of a multi-disciplined project team, mentoring, leading and developing operational personnel to deliver within defined scope and schedule.
• Lead and engage stakeholders and collaboratively work with program managers to balance competing needs.
• Monitor program performance including earned value management and technical progress measures.
• Advise on defects or potential defects in product/service quality to support a proactive delivery approach.
• Work with Finance to ensure sound operational financial performance through effective budget management.

• Significant senior project management experience in delivery of acquisition programs with detailed knowledge of Earned Value management and full lifecycle engineering.
• Proven track record in operational management with strong asset and financial management skills and leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing project teams including external contractors and partners with successful delivery in cost, schedule and performance.
• A relevant Degree in a Project Management/Engineering/Manufacturing/Business related discipline.
• Well-developed communication and people development skills.
• Ability to negotiate with and influence internal and/or external stakeholders to generate business benefits while maintaining key relationships.
• High level of customer focus with proven experience with senior customers.
• Experience in managing large and dispersed engineering teams (highly desirable).
• Higher education qualifications in project management at degree level and/or allied disciplines (highly desirable).
• Must currently hold a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
