What's the Role All About?

As An Employment Consultant, You'll Be a Positive Force In Someone's Journey To Meaningful Work. Here's What Your Days Could Look Like

  • Supporting people with intellectual disabilities to find long-term, fulfilling employment
  • Building strong relationships through regular chats — in person and over the phone
  • Problem-solving and guiding participants through life and work challenges
  • Advocating fiercely for your participants with local employers
  • Matching people to the right job opportunities
  • Coaching and cheering them on through interviews, onboarding, and the early days at work

A Few Must-Haves
  • The right to work in Australia (NO RESTRICTONS)
  • Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check
  • Comfortable with obtaining a police check
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a car
  • Flexibility to travel to nearby sites occasionally
