This purpose-driven, progressive, and dynamic organization is dedicated to providing quality care and support to the community, focusing on delivering the best of care to people of all ages, cultures, beliefs, and circumstances. Through their social enterprise model, they deliver better outcomes for more than 13,000 people in our community.
We are proud to support the organization in sourcing a People & Culture Business Partner with a varied portfolio. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will establish and maintain a strong and supportive partnership between the operational business unit and People, Culture, and Safety. You will provide effective, accurate, and timely human resources support, advice, and coaching to managers and employees across the organization, with a keen focus on building a positive employee experience.
The role has a generalist focus, working across all aspects of human resources, including program development, talent management, learning and development, coaching and mentoring, performance management, and employee relations to deliver results and drive a high-performing culture for the benefit of the consumer, stakeholders, and the organization's sustainability. This role is also accountable for driving and contributing to key initiatives and exciting projects.
With a strong team of specialists in the broader People & Culture team enabling you to focus on genuine partnering, success will depend on responsiveness, building and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships, and the ability to quickly gain credibility, trust, and a deep understanding of different needs. Additionally:
- Demonstrated experience in a not-for-profit, family community services, mental health, disability, or volunteer environment, ideally with a blended workforce (corporate and frontline);
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources management, business, or psychology;
- Flexibility and ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including coaching, influencing, and negotiation;
- Strong attention to detail and results orientation;
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
The remuneration package is $120,000-$130,000 inclusive of superannuation, commensurate with experience, with salary packaging options (up to $15,900 for living expenses and up to $2,650 for meals/entertainment). To receive the same benefits without salary packaging, a gross salary of $141,229 is required.
Join a supportive team where everyone's contributions matter. While most of the workforce currently works remotely, the team gathers regularly at their vibrant head office in Camberwell to foster collaboration and build strong connections. They also organize monthly social activities and team-building events to maintain a positive work culture and sense of community.
