Adult Inpatient Mental Health Services are looking for a Senior Psychologist to join their team. The Logan Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit is a 70 bed Unit facility which falls within Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS). The Multidisciplinary team aims to provide high quality, safe, patient focused specialised mental health and drug and alcohol care to patients who are usually over the age of 18 years, and who present with severe mental illness or are at risk of developing severe mental illness.

About The Role

• Collaborate on and undertake the development of evidence-based clinical practices, policies and protocols within Inpatient Services.
• Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to Psychology complex decision making with only occasional clinical / professional supervision.
• Adapt routine clinical practice as required based on clinical evidence with minimal supervision and a high degree of independence.
• Assist in the identification, development, implementation and / or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence based practice under the guidance of senior staff.
