About The Role

Provide assistance to the teacher(s) by carrying out a wide range of teacher support tasks in the material design and technology learning area. May also provide support and assistance to students with behavioural issues.

Construction or MDT experience advantageous as there are a number of power tools that need to be used.

Period of Appointment

Ongoing - ASAP start date

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Hours per fortnight

40 hours per fortnight, 40 weeks per year

Essential Requirements
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements
  • College or TAFE studies in health and/or education support
