A temporary part-time position as a Diverse Learning Teacher is available, commencing as soon as possible until 19 December 2025.

The role of Classroom Teacher supports growth in faith and learning to help students reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Create and maintain an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
  • Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas.
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies and analyze data to inform student learning.
  • Demonstrate commitment to engaging professionally with colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Experience within Gifted & Talented Education.

The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
  • Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with 'To Work, Teach and Lead' policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
  • The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child-related work, and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with CEDoW.
