We are seeking a Mobile Plant Mechanic based in Sydney, NSW.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair mobile plant such as excavators, loaders, and mobile screens.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Knowledge of mobile screens is advantageous.
  • Work independently to maximize machine uptime.
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform fault repairs.
  • Diagnose faults and perform machinery maintenance.
  • Perform basic welding and grinding tasks.
  • Possess basic electrical and A/C knowledge.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all sites.
  • Interpret parts manuals and diagrams.
What Makes You a GOgetter
  • Heavy Mechanical trade qualification (Plant or machinery).
  • Experience in a heavy industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and different shifts.
  • Own tools and a current driver's license.
  • Ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • A safety-focused work ethic.
