This is not just another manufacturing company; they are partnered behind some of Australia's most innovative and trusted consumer products. And now, on the hunt for a Head of Sales to take their contract manufacturing footprint to the next level.
What You'll Do
As Head of Sales, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a strategic roadmap to drive business growth within the contract manufacturing space. You'll lead the charge into new and emerging markets, identifying opportunities that expand our reach and strengthen our market position. At the heart of this role is relationship-building where you'll foster and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as the trusted advisor who delivers real value.
You'll oversee the negotiation and execution of complex commercial contracts, ensuring outcomes are mutually beneficial and aligned with our customer-first approach. Financial oversight will also be a key part of your day-to-day from managing budgets and forecasts to analysing financial performance and implementing corrective actions that keep us on target.
Leading a high-performing team of Account Managers, you'll establish a sales culture that's driven, structured and accountable. You'll be coaching, mentoring and setting clear objectives to ensure consistent sales success. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring seamless partnership with teams across R&D, Production, Quality Assurance and Engineering to bring innovative products to life and deliver outstanding client experiences from concept to shelf.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sales or relevant industry experience
- Must have experience in contract manufacturing within food/pharma sectors
- A proven background in negotiating high-stakes contracts and managing costings
- Demonstrated leadership success in sales or new product development (NPD) environments
- Commercially sharp and target-driven
- An exceptional communicator who builds trust with ease
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset
- Someone who thrives under pressure and knows how to rally a team around a vision
