Chamberlains Law Firm is currently seeking a Lawyer to join our Insurance and Dispute Resolution Team in Sydney. This is an entry level position although experience working in a law firm will be highly regarded.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Lawyer to join our Sydney office. You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced team members who will assist you with your career development. We aim to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible. This role is suitable for newly or soon to be admitted lawyers who are interested in working in litigation.

Training in these areas will be provided. Initially, you will be:

Drafting correspondence and legal documents

Conducting research

Liaising with potential new clients and existing clients

Attending client appointments with your supervising solicitor

Assisting with litigation files and court attendances

Working closely with Senior Lawyers and Directors

About You:

Must be Admitted

Be passionate about a career in the law

Be able to work both independently and as part of a team

Manage your time efficiently and use initiative

Have excellent organisational skills

You will value:

Contributing to the wider firm strategic plan and a commitment to firm procedures
