About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the role
The Home Dialysis Unit at Barwon Health has held a strong reputation both nationally and globally for its innovative approach to home dialysis therapies, in particular, nocturnal home haemodialysis. The Renal Service continues to maintain a third of its dialysis patients independent on a home therapy.
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Renal Nurse to take on the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) role within the Home Dialysis Unit. The Home Dialysis ANUM supports the Nurse Unit Manager in managing the day to day operation of the Home Dialysis Unit including home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis areas.
