Join Hanes as an Automation Engineer Graduate to optimise Goods-To-Person automation platforms in a high-output distribution centre.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Optimise the efficiency and uptime of GTP and automation platforms
  • Support preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing
  • Collaborate with Engineering, DC Operations, and Planning to align labour and automation strategies
  • Analyse system and operational data to maximise output and ensure consistent lead times at lowest cost
  • Develop and improve scalable processes across low, medium, and peak demand periods
About You

The company is looking for:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Natural leadership qualities, demonstrated by leading a team even outside the workplace
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Familiarity with automation systems (e.g. Schaefer/SSI) is a bonus
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon/night)
