Call Centre Team Leader – NSW Government (Contract Role, Fully Remote)

Location: Remote – Open to NSW residents, including regional areas

Contract Duration: 3 months with option to extend

Salary: $62ph plus super

Start Date: Immediate start required

Are you an experienced Call Centre Team Leader with a proven track record of managing teams of 10 or more in a high-volume customer service environment? A NSW Government agency is seeking a motivated leader to oversee frontline operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional service. This fully remote role is open to NSW residents, including those in regional areas.

About the Role:

  1. Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of 10+ call centre agents to achieve performance targets
  2. Monitoring and managing daily workflow, ensuring service levels are met
  3. Handling escalations, providing real-time support and guidance to staff
  4. Conducting performance reviews and implementing coaching strategies
  5. Maintaining compliance with government policies, procedures, and service standards
  6. Driving team engagement and fostering a positive, high-performing culture

About You:

  1. Proven experience leading call centre teams of 10+ people in a fast-paced environment
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on coaching and performance improvement
  3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling customer concerns
  4. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  5. Availability to commit to the full contract period with no planned leave or holiday commitments
  6. Experience working in government or highly regulated environments (desirable but not essential)
  7. Reliable home office setup with a strong internet connection for remote work
