Robert Walters has partnered with a leading education fintech firm to recruit a dynamic and motivated Team Leader on a permanent basis. You will be managing a tight-knit team of Customer Success professionals and managing inbound queries alongside the rest of the team and truly leading by example. You will be a transformational leader, who will be able to identify gaps, create change and efficiencies within the team and establish new structures, so there is an opportunity to leave a great imprint on the business. Another big focus area will be coaching and mentorship, to ensure the team are as best as they can be.

What will the day to day look like?

  • Manage, mentor and coach a team of Customer Success professionals
  • Lead by example and manage inbound queries alongside the rest of the team via phone, email and live chat
  • Mentoring and coaching the team designing individual personal development plans
  • Track & analyse data, identify trends and develop strategic recommendations
  • Responsible for Customer Success performance reporting by collecting, analysing and summarising data and trends
  • Ensure consistent service is provided across all communication platforms
  • Engage with the leadership team on best practices and implement required consistencies

What skillset will you bring to the table?

  • Experience in finance, payments, or education sectors ideal but not necessary
  • 2+ years of Team Leader experience
  • Demonstrated ability coaching & developing a team
  • Exposure to regulated consumer credit environment
  • Basic knowledge or ability to understand interest and payment calculations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Be compassionate and patient in engaging with current and potential customers
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a number of different teams across the business
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure
  • Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
