The role:

In our new and engaging retail spaces across Australia, we welcome applications for Retail Sales Assistants (we call these roles Stylists) to work as part of the teams at our David Jones Queens Plaza (Brisbane City) store.

Our Store team have a wealth of passion, energy, confidence and drive to build lasting relationships, meet sales targets, and delight our customers at every opportunity. In this role, you are an integral part of a successful team: maximising sales and supporting day-to-day operations of the store, while ensuring our customers receive considered service and styling, making their experience effortless.

As a Stylist, you work as part of a team to create a genuine shopping experience for every customer: acting as a passionate brand ambassador for the Yarra Trail and Brand Collective businesses. You understand our customers' needs when offering styling advice and recommendations and you develop effective relationships in doing so.

To achieve the above, you:

• Contribute to store's sales by selling passionately on the shop floor.
• Ensure store presentation is immaculate through adhering to our visual merchandising standards.
• Work towards achieving an exceptional customer experience by communicating product knowledge of apparel and accessories.
• Adhere to a well-organised stock room and use ladders to retrieve stock from a height (comfortability doing so is a must).
• Assist your Manager with various administration and store maintenance duties including cleaning as required.

You bring to the team:

• Customer service experience (retail experience desirable, although not essential).
• Ability to flex your hours as per business needs.
• Enthusiasm for creating modern, authentic service experiences for our customers.
• Familiarity with styling outfits that leave customers feeling relaxed, confident and tailored to their needs.
• Experience with stock control and VM (comfortability in lifting up to 10kg unassisted).
• Strong communication, organisational and listening skills.
