Entry-level Laboratory Technician role in Enfield, Sydney, supporting the Asphalt Technical Services Team with hands-on laboratory and field testing responsibilities.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the sampling, preparation, and testing of asphalt and related materials.
  • Recording and reporting test results accurately.
  • Performing calibrations and routine checks of laboratory equipment.
  • Supporting the upkeep of lab safety and quality standards.
  • Maintaining laboratory records and assisting with accreditation requirements.
  • Occasionally helping with field testing when needed.

  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and learning.
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using software for data entry and reporting.
  • Good time management and the ability to stay organised.
  • Willingness to work in a team and follow instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to build a career in a technical field.
  • Recent graduates in science, engineering, or a related field, school leavers, or trainees with a strong interest in technical/laboratory work are encouraged to apply.
