The Role:

The Facilities Coordinator role will assist the onsite staff with operational activities by providing customer related support and service to enable onsite delivery staff to effectively delivery facility management services and also provide broad level administrative support to the site team You will also provide support for broader regional facilities and asset management programs and initiatives to meet operational and service delivery objectives.

Duties

  • Oversee & guide contractors delivering a diverse range of property and facilities services
  • Assess and allocate work received through a range of sources to contracted service providers and inhouse team members
  • Perform a range of facilities and asset management services, and minor maintenance and repairs as required to effectively supplement team resourcing.
  • Monitor and utilize asset management and facilities work order management systems for a range of activities including maintaining database records, logging and tracking jobs and Work Order/Purchase Order management (Corrigo).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key site stakeholders and Client Branch management
  • Actively participate in a range of emergency, safety and business continuity planning and implementation activities, including emergency response team (ERT) duties. And Incident Management.
  • Under guidance of the Facilities Manager/Assigned Manager, contribute to broader projects and activities requiring facilities and asset management involvement at a local site level, -
  • Place the Client at the centre of all decision making.

What you will bring:

You will have previous experience in Facilities Administration/Coordination role with exposure to supervising inhouse and/or external contracted services in the delivery of facilities management, repairs and maintenance work.

A customer-oriented attitude is essential as the ability for you to cooperate & work well with others to meet targets and support the team effectively as and when needed

You have demonstrated experience assessing maintenance and repairs work requirements and coordinating services to perform work to specified standards.

Knowledge of utilising computerised systems to support administration and work management activities is also required
