Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Mental Health Clinician role at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. The RMH Mental Health Services is a leading public healthcare provider and is seeking a passionate clinician to contribute to community mental health services from Waratah Clinic, Moonee Ponds. This is a fixed-term position to June 2026 with the option for Full Time or Part Time Open to Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist and Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN4).

Responsibilities
  • Develop evidence-based recovery plans with consumers and families
  • Manage a balanced caseload that enables therapeutic engagement
  • Deliver high-quality assessments, treatment and ongoing support
  • Provide leadership to uphold strong clinical standards and a positive culture
  • Contribute actively to discipline-specific and multidisciplinary activities
  • Enhance evidence-based practice for people with severe and enduring mental illness
About You
  • Qualified Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN4)
  • Experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of severe mental illness and psychiatric disability
  • Motivation to provide leadership and drive clinical standards
  • Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence supporting people with co-occurring drug and alcohol issues
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and willingness to work flexibly
