Senior Manager, Prudential Governance and Policy at BOQ Group. Role focuses on prudential governance, risk policies and standards as part of the Risk Transformation Program.
Responsibilities- Lead the annual prudential standard attestation process.
- Drive improvements in policies and standards; ensure regulatory obligations are met.
- Advise document owners, guide approval and publication of policies; partner with the Group Risk Extended Leadership Team to deliver value.
- Hands-on with the CPS220 risk management declaration and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from the Chief Risk Officer, General Managers, divisional leads and the regulatory engagement team; may work with external consultants.
- Experience in financial services, ideally banking; strong understanding of risk management and prudential standards.
- Degree in Commerce, Business, Law, or similar.
- Attention to detail and ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Natural communicator; able to prep clear briefings for senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially PowerPoint); Service Now is a bonus.
