About The Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, take charge of daily operations, driving sales, and inspiring your team to be their best. As a member of the store leadership team, support the Store Manager in all areas of running a multi-million-dollar business, including rostering, reporting, and delivering efficient service to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Help develop the next generation of leaders by training and coaching team members.
  • Maintain store standards for safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Manage stock and inventory to minimise losses.
  • Work with the team on registers, merchandising, and shelf replenishment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive ideas to execution.
  • Ensure the store runs smoothly and supports customer satisfaction.
  • Step up to run the store when the Store Manager is on leave.
Qualifications / What we need from you
  • Experience leading teams, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong communication skills to inspire teammates and delight customers.
  • Proven ability to motivate, train, and support staff to perform at their best.
  • Ability to support the Store Manager to achieve store results.
  • Professional and responsible approach to every situation.
  • Ability to work independently and implement ALDI policies and procedures.
