Apprentice Distribution Line Worker (Overhead)

Joining our team means you'll be part of something that really matters. As our Distribution Line Worker (Overhead) Apprentice, you will be based in Esperance and be supported to study, train and work towards your Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead UET30621.

Your Role Will Include
  • Learning how to work safely at heights, including climbing power poles.
  • Understanding electrical concepts and applying them safely, such as fault finding, testing and repairing electrical distribution equipment.
  • Learning to obtain a variety of licences including elevated work platforms, dogging and forklift.
  • Travelling to Perth for blocks of learning, development and training with our Registered Training Organisation.

You Will
  • Be 17 years or older or completing Year 12 when you apply.
  • Live locally in Esperance.
  • Hold a 'C' class licence.
  • Be able to travel and be away from home.
  • A commitment to your personal safety and others in the workplace.
