The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is a vital part of the Talent team. This role will identify recruitment needs/gaps whilst overseeing the end to end recruitment activities, campaigns and drive regional strategic resourcing initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager on building and implementing employer brand strategies to attract talent
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and provide advice on best practice recruitment including consideration of current market conditions and trends
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and candidate requirements
  • Market open positions via various channels including but not limited to, IRT's careers page, job boards such as Seek, LinkedIn and via social media
  • Source and engage with candidates utilizing EOI's, referrals, industry contacts, professional networks
  • Attend relevant events as required to assist in increasing brand awareness
  • Proactively engage in headhunting activities to source candidates who fit the candidate profile
  • Assist with pre-screening and interviewing candidates, evaluating applicants and submitting top candidates for hiring manager review
  • Anticipate future talent needs and work to develop talent pools of passive candidates to fill vacancies
  • Communicate with interview panellists to ensure preparedness during the interview process, providing guidance on relevant probing questions
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify competency questions for interview consistency and quality
  • Work closely with business leaders to influence effective recruiting approaches and set realistic expectations on time to hire, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback
  • Provide training and coaching to hiring managers and those involved in the selection process
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to the Talent Acquisition Partners
  • Collaborate with marketing, human resources and business leaders to establish an employer brand identity
  • Build awareness and promote recruiting efforts through social media channels such as Facebook or LinkedIn
  • Develop advertisement materials, such as advertisements, flyers, digital media, and promotional products
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, colleges, vendors, associations, and other bodies who might route talent to the organization or aid in Talent Acquisition processes
  • Build and lead a meaningful candidate experience ensuring expectations are managed and candidates are engaged throughout the whole process
  • Perform research to understand the current market needs and wants
  • Establish and report on talent acquisition metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate calibre, candidate sourcing and acceptance, cost per hire, etc.
  • Work to ensure diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices
  • Contribute to the completion of various talent acquisition projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in driving end to end recruitment processes, campaigns and associated functions for a range of roles and target markets
  • Demonstrated experience in developing bespoke recruitment campaign initiatives and digital media content
  • Demonstrated experience in running multiple concurrent campaigns or projects
  • A demonstrated understanding of online candidate management systems and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to deliver professional, accurate reports and documentation
  • Experience working with interpreting industrial instruments including Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven attention to detail skills
  • Proven ability to influence managers with regard to policies and procedures
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment requiring the strictest of confidence
  • Drivers licence and the ability to travel to IRT locations and events as required
