You may know R6 Digital as one of Brisbane's leading creative and digital agencies. What you might not know is that behind the scenes, we've built a global software company that's redefining how the self-storage industry runs.

At R6, we have a number of our own SaaS products as well as a number of different custom-built projects and integrations for our clients. In short, we have a lot of different things going on, so we're looking for somebody that's flexible both in solving problems and building and delivering new projects.

What we're looking for:

At least 5 years of mid-to-senior level experience

Ability to diagnose and solve problems with existing complex systems

Ability to architect and build new projects

Ability to adapt to different software development stacks quickly

Experience providing advice to junior developers, including code reviews

A level of self-sufficiency and the ability to work independently if necessary or with other developers, depending on the needs of the project

Useful skills to have for this role:

We don't require experience with any specific language, but as a reference, here's the sort of thing you'll be doing at R6:

Working with PHP - primarily Laravel for our own products and internal projects, and sometimes WordPress integrations for client-specific work

Using Docker Swarm to deploy applications

Using Expo and React Native to build mobile apps

Using Git to manage source code and collaborate with the team

Building integrations between all sorts of different REST APIs

Working on internal tooling such as scripts and web services to make our own lives easier
