Overview

Are you an experienced Warehouse & Forklift Operator seeking a new challenge? Costa invites you to join our Brisbane-based team that provides marketing services for growers' produce through our market floor. We are a small team looking for enthusiastic people who want to upskill and develop a career within our business.

Position

Warehouse & Forklift Operator

Location: Rocklea, Brisbane

Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 2am - 9am

What You'll Be Doing
  • Safe and efficient forklift transporting and tracking of fresh produce, loading and unloading of containers and trucks.
  • Daily pre-starts and equipment checks to proactively identify maintenance issues.
  • Receiving and Despatch work.
  • Picking and Packing orders, manual handling.
  • Other duties to assist despatch staff, as required.
What You'll Bring To The Role
  • Current Forklift License essential.
  • Previous experience working in Fresh Produce Markets desirable.
  • An understanding of perishable goods picking, stock rotation and expiry date sorting.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • A cool head under pressure and ability to work in a diverse team.
