REX is seeking a suitably qualified individual to join the REX AMO team as a full-time Logistics/Stores Officer, located in Sydney NSW. This position is responsible for the effective and efficient execution of the Company's aircraft stores' procedures and providing general support.

Responsibilities
  • Receipt, issue, storage and dispatch of aircraft parts, tools and non-aircraft items.
  • Work on a shift roster and on standby if and when required.
  • Ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency is maintained.
  • Run stores compliantly to CASA Regulations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and security of the Store.
  • Monitor shelf life items and "Services in Store".
  • Carry out stock takes as required.
  • Ensure adequate protection for all stored items and maintenance of store security.
  • Ensure the expeditious movement and processing of parts and tooling within stores system and items awaiting processing.
  • Ensure efficient use of available storage space and accurate stock locations.
  • Monitor aircraft bins to identify unused stock (First In, First Out).
  • Identify and propose opportunities for cost-effective improvements to methods and procedures.
  • Ensure safety by identifying hazards and taking appropriate actions, reporting items requiring action outside the area of responsibility to the supervisor.
  • Carry out other tasks as specified by the supervisor as appropriate.
Selection Criteria
  • Knowledge of aircraft components is an advantage.
  • Basic computer knowledge and use of Microsoft applications.
  • Current driver's license is essential.
  • Must be able to obtain an ASIC card, Air Side Driver's license, Dangerous Goods License and Fork Lift License.
