The Community Forensic Outreach Service, part of the broader Community ForensicMental Health Service, is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Clinicianto join its Therapy Service. This is a rare opportunity to work at theintersection of mental health and public safety, delivering high-impact therapyand consultation services across North Queensland.
Aboutthe Role
As aSenior Clinician you will:
- Deliverformulation-driven therapy and evidence-based psychological interventions
- Conductcomplex forensic assessments and provide responsive, person-centredtherapies
- Collaboratewith multidisciplinary treating teams across Townsville, North West QLD,and Mackay to support continuity of care
- Provideconsultation-liaison services to Hospital and Health Services
- Mentorand supervise less experienced clinicians
- Leadtraining and capacity-building initiatives across mental health teams

- Four-year Psychology degree (Honours orGraduate Diploma) and registration with AHPRA

- Postgraduatequalifications in Clinical Psychology (Masters or Doctorate), orsignificant progress toward completion
