The Role

We are looking for an experienced IT generalist to join our team in a senior capacity.

In this role, you will provide technical input to our sales team while also contributing to business operations through improvements to internal processes, operating procedures, and technical documentation.

This role primarily involves providing high-level technical support to our managed services clients. You will also have the opportunity to mentor members of our service delivery team and to deploy and document first-of-a-kind projects.

About You

We're looking for someone who can:

  • Engage with customers to understand their IT requirements from both technical and business perspectives
  • Clearly articulate those requirements in proposals, designs, or statements of work—in language that is meaningful to both the client and the delivery team
  • Deliver proposed complex or first-of-a-kind solutions to customers and document them in a way that allows others to replicate the work in the future
  • Mentor other team members to help develop their technical and soft skills, including project delivery, documentation, and requirements gathering
  • Lead a small group of technical resources to deliver a complex project or defined outcome when required

Key Skills

As a Managed Services Provider, we work across a broad range of customers and technologies. Proficiency is expected in the following areas:

  • Microsoft 365 product suite
  • General networking principles and security
  • Traditional server and storage environments, including virtualisation
  • Microsoft Windows Server and endpoints
  • Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) toolsets

Experience or understanding in any of the following areas would be advantageous:

  • ITIL
  • Cultural change management
  • Project management
