Immediate start for a Store Person Lead and Production Operators

The Findlay Group (WFL, FFCAP, and FFCL) is a long-standing family-owned and operated business. It is a value-driven, fast-growing international company with manufacturing plants in three countries. The Group includes the local plant bread bakery in Gisborne and Line-hauling services to Wairarapa. It also has Bread Crumb and Powder Blending Plants in Dunedin, Bathurst NSW. The largest plant is based in Idaho, USA, specializing in Batter Powders for French Fries. Recently, a new Batter Powder plant was established in Melbourne VIC.

The Group's Head Office is located in Gisborne.

About the Role :

Position: Store Person Lead

We seek a reliable and motivated Store Person Lead to join our team. Full training on operating our state-of-the-art machinery will be provided.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Accurately weighing and preparing both dry and wet ingredients
  • Performing manual handling and general labour tasks as required
  • Reporting and addressing issues such as unsafe practices, non-compliant products, equipment faults, or damaged materials
  • Stock control, inventory, and practices

Applicants must hold a current forklift license and have proven experience in loading and unloading trucks.

About the Role :

Position : Production Operator

We offer full training for those with current or previous food industry experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Measuring and mixing ingredients
  • Operating machinery and monitoring processes
  • Reporting safety hazards or equipment issues
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

  • Experience in the food industry
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong team player with a reliable and punctual work ethic
  • Enthusiastic, energetic attitude

Desirable Skills – A Bonus, But Not Essential :

  • Current LF Forklift License
  • HR Truck License
  • Experience in Health & Safety
