KU Children's Services is a leading provider of early childhood education and care in Australia. We have been delivering high-quality and inclusive services for children, families, and communities since 1895. We are excited to be expanding into the Knox region from January 2025 with six sessional Kindergartens. KU Knoxfield Kindergarten

Knoxfield is a 56-place service that runs a three-year-old group on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and a four-year-old group on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the same times.

The service features two large outdoor spaces for the groups, abundant natural resources, and undercover play areas. Ample street parking is available nearby, along with bus stops outside the kindergarten.

You will join a passionate team to provide education and care for children, emphasizing building relationships and creating an inclusive environment where children belong, play, discover, and learn.

We have several exciting permanent roles for the right candidates, including:

  • Lorikeets Room (3-Year-olds)
  • 19 hours per week
  • Monday and Wednesday 8:15 am - 4:30 pm
  • Friday 11:45 am - 2:15 pm (Non-Contact Day)
  • 4 hours of non-contact time weekly
  • Uniform and First Aid allowance paid

Criteria

  • An ACCEQA-recognized Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for child care and protection
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Regulations (2011), and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
