Kinrise is a growing, privately owned powerhouse in Australian food manufacturing with brands across Biscuits, Breakfast, Baking, Bakery, and Snackfood. Formed in 2018, Kinrise has 40+ years making iconic Australian food, grounded in family origins.
We're now looking for an experienced Shift Manager (Afternoon Shift) to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in leading safe, efficient and high-performing operations.
What You'll Do- Lead & inspire: Motivate and coach a passionate team to achieve their best every day.
- Drive operational excellence: Oversee production performance, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met.
- Champion improvement: Identify opportunities, analyse data, and implement solutions that boost output and reduce inefficiencies.
- Own compliance & safety: Set the standard for OH&S, GMP and HACCP – building a safe, compliant workplace for all.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with quality, maintenance, and manufacturing teams to resolve challenges and keep things running smoothly.
- 4–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing (FMCG/food industry highly regarded).
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – you know how to use data to drive decisions.
- Clear communicator with a natural ability to engage and energise your team.
- Experience with SAP or high-speed packaging equipment is a plus.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Food Technology or similar will be highly valued.
