We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Pacific Finance team, supporting key day-to-day operational tasks, month-end reporting, and local statutory and indirect tax reporting requirements. The role requires a strong focus on ensuring integrity of internal controls around revenue recognition and compliance with key finance and accounting policies.

The Opportunity

Lead and support month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Ensure revenue recognition compliance through audits and documentation aligned with SOX requirements.
Perform system reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between accounting and billing systems.
Support audit and compliance activities including SOX, external audits, and statutory reporting.
Manage local filings such as FBT returns, ABS surveys, and Payment Times Reporting.
Collaborate across teams, provide training, and maintain up-to-date procedures.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent).
Experience in external audit (Big 4 preferred).
Exposure to US GAAP and SOX compliance.
Advanced Excel skills; PeopleSoft experience a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
