Are you a true all-rounder with experience in logistics and stock management looking to grow your career and be exposed to the full gamut of operations?

We are seeking an experienced Unit Logistics Officer to join our professional team at our Brisbane Airport catering unit on a full-time basis.

What does a typical day look like?

You will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and allocating both Domestic and International Airline equipment daily inventory levels across all our customers. The ULO role involves engaging in logistics communications directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the facility has sufficient stock to meet daily demand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving food and non-food items, ensuring HACCP compliance on all food receipts.
  • Ordering airline equipment.
  • Maintaining stock control.
  • Submitting airline stock counts.
  • Handling relevant customs documentation.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of logistics management and production processes, with sound knowledge of airlines or manufacturing.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on practical approach.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Forklift license is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with Excel and JDE or similar ERP systems is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
