Join Arup's Sustainability team and help deliver impactful infrastructure projects through strategic sustainability integration. Your primary responsibility will be supporting projects pursuing IS ratings, while working closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to shape future-ready solutions.
The Opportunity
- Support the delivery of Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) ratings across transport, energy, and water projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability across all project stages
- Author and review technical reports covering topics like circular economy, carbon, water, and social impact
- Represent Arup in external meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and support the development of junior team members

Is this role right for you?
- A degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science or a related field
- Minimum 4 years' experience in infrastructure sustainability consulting, with IS rating scheme knowledge essential
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of decarbonisation policy, climate risk assessment, and sustainability-related legislation in Queensland and Australia
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership
