Expressway Spares is looking for a full-time Hydraulic Cylinder Rebuild Technician to join our team in a brand-new, purpose-built facility.

The Role

You will primarily work on Caterpillar hydraulic and suspension cylinders. You will be provided with a dedicated workspace, including a computer, cylinder bench, enclosed work area, toolbox, high-quality measuring equipment, and major tooling in a new facility.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Dismantling cylinders for inspection, repair assessment, and reporting
  • Parts assessment using OEM software
  • Failure analysis and recommending improvements
  • Assembling reconditioned cylinders, completing QC documentation, and operating hydraulic test benches
  • Producing high-quality products with extended lifespan

Desired Qualifications / Experience

  • Trade qualification preferred but not essential; mechanical background and aptitude considered
  • Experience with OEM systems desirable but not essential
  • Valid Driver's Licence required
  • Forklift Ticket desirable but not essential
