Key responsibilities include :

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all stakeholders in your area of operations – train crew, network, maintenance, operations, and more.
  • Entering detailed and quality data into our transport and labour management systems.
  • Directing the movement of crews across your area to minimize crew travel in cars while ensuring minimal delay to services.
  • Identifying incidents and events that could disrupt our services, and managing disruptions efficiently to return to the plan.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with internal and external customers.

We seek dynamic candidates with a positive outlook and a keen interest in the rail industry, eager to learn and develop their careers. Ideal applicants are team players with a customer-focused approach, thrive on challenges, and possess creative problem-solving skills to handle issues under pressure.

In addition :

  • Flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple mediums (phone, email, text, etc.).
  • Intermediate computer skills; experience with transport or labour management systems and reporting systems is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Confidence in reviewing information and making appropriate decisions.
  • An interest in a long-term career in Transport and Logistics is highly advantageous.
