House Services Assistant

Overview

The House Services Team at the Launceston General Hospital takes pride in providing exceptional cleaning services and are committed to workforce diversity and a safe, supported, and respectful workplace for all employees.

Role

• Assist in maintaining a high standard of cleaning within LGH, outbuildings and surrounds, adhering to WHS and Infection Control policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
  
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  
• The role involves varied manual tasks including the use of ladders and the ability to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery.

Details of appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, 9:00 am to 5:21 pm Mon-Fri, commencing as soon as you would like to join our team.

• Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
  

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
