An exciting opportunity to work in a holiday park on the beautiful coastal side of Narrabeen, NSW. Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park is managed by BelgraviaPRO and offers a location where Narrabeen Lake meets North Narrabeen surf beach. Guests can enjoy surfing, kayaking, fishing and stand-up paddle boarding, with a variety of accommodation types including cabins, villas, powered and unpowered sites for caravans and tents. The park features play areas and amenities blocks with bathrooms, laundry and kitchen facilities.
This will be an ongoing full-time role.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the grounds and gardens, amenities cleaning, BBQ cleaning, park maintenance, and rubbish removal. A high standard and good eye for detail are required. You will be friendly, enthusiastic and available to work over a 7-day roster including some weekends and possibly public holidays.
As a Grounds & Maintenance All Rounder, You Will
- Ensure immaculate presentation and maintenance of our grounds, including mowing, weeding, pruning, landscaping.
- Provide incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities and other facilities.
- Service the splash park - cleaning, dosing, water balance, repairs and maintenance.
- Maintenance and cleaning of public areas and facilities.
- Assist with gardening projects, basic mechanical repairs and painting.
Essential
- First Aid Level 2 (training available if required)
- Current CPR (training available if required)
- National Police Check clearance on onboarding
- Working with Children Check or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience operating and maintaining equipment such as lawn mowers, edgers, sweepers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers, sprayers, and basic hand tools
- Well-developed communication and organization skills
- Ability to interact with management professionally
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work with limited supervision
