Capcoal Mine – CHPP Production Supervisor

Location: Middlemount, QLD (Capcoal Mine).

Overview

We are seeking a CHPP Production Supervisor to join the CHPP team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, you will supervise the production crew to safely execute shift production plans and deliver the annual coal production plan by optimising activities and continually improving the performance of the Coal Handling Processing Plant.

Responsibilities

• Manage the real-time performance of the production crew and deliver against targets and schedules in a safe and efficient manner.
• Interact with maintenance personnel and, where required, supervise maintenance activities.
• Act as the key production interface at the CHPP, proactively leading and coordinating crew performance, breakdown response action planning and contingency planning direction.
• Align best practice across crews and ensure statutory compliance is met.

Qualifications

• Trade and/or suitable qualifications in line with Coal Processing.
• Hold the Supervisor & Risk Facilitator competency (S1, 2, 3 & G2).
• Demonstrated experience within a Coal Processing Plant environment.
• Understanding and proven capabilities in driving opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to influence and achieve stakeholder buy-in.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Understanding of the coal mining process and relevant mining legislation is highly regarded.

• Permanent, full-time position at Capcoal Mine, Middlemount QLD.
• 7 on, 7 off Day/Night roster.
