About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Pyrmont. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our people strategy and fostering a high-performance culture. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, from employee relations and compliance to talent development, project management and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team who provide advisory support across all areas, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Business partner with executive and national leadership teams through coaching and mentoring managers, building their capability to lead and develop their teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee relations issues, providing sound advice and guidance to managers and employees.

About You:

  • Proven track record of building manager capability through effective coaching and influencing.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
