Job Description:About the RoleThe Eligibility Officer will determine whether to accept or reject claims, transition claims to Case Managers for ongoing management, calculate PIAWE, advise Dispute Resolution Managers on decision rationale, and identify the recovery potential of claims. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation, resilience, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

- At least 2 years in initial claims assessment (as a Case Manager) or 1 year in a legal/paralegal role
- Knowledge of Workplace Injury Rehabilitation & Compensation Act 2013 and regulations, or a legal qualification
- Experience with WorkCover scheme
- Teamwork and adaptability
- Concern for others and compliance with rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ACCtion, Novus, or similar case management systems
